Water-based inkjet inks are mainly used in standard and thermal inkjet. There are no volatile organic compounds (VOC) and generally low toxicity, the dry rate is slow on non-absorbent substrates. They require special coated media to optimize drying and dot gain, as well as lamination to achieve water resistance. They were developed originally for desktop systems, but helped pioneer the growth of inkjet in wide-format graphics. Perfect for Giclee printing and painting reproductions on canvas and paper!

Our Pro Pigment UV inks have very strong properties:
- offer 10-15 years of UV resistance as opposed to the general 5-8 years.
- offer a wide gamut for better color quality control
- offer solid adhesion properties to enable the printing on a wide range of medias
- our inks are nano-filtered, meaning they can NOT clog print heads (however please keep in mind that machines are recommended to use a cleaning solution which we also supply)
